Originally from Sand Springs Oklahoma, I have been in the film and theater industry for more than twenty years.
My professional career began in Dallas, Texas working with such theater groups as Dallas Children’s Theater,
under the direction of Robyn Flatt, in shows such as To Kill a Mockingbird and Woods at Bear Bottom.
Other groups I have worked with in Dallas are Teatro Dallas, doing both adult and children's theater, and
the Addison Center Theater. Furthermore, I was a founding member of the Vivid Theater Ensemble of Dallas
under the Artistic direction of Akin Babatunde. |
| In 1991, I moved on to the Arkansas Repertory Theater,
under the direction of Brad Mooy, to create a touring Arts in Education show entitled Pieces of Eight,
which presented scenes from Shakespearean plays. I have also worked in outdoor theater at the Lime Kiln
Theater in Lexington, Virginia performing Stonewall Country their signature piece, and Cymbeline.
After the Lime Kiln Theater, I moved to Washington D.C. to work at The Arena Stage as an understudy and
performer in a variety of plays. At the Arena, I was also an original cast member in the first reading of
East Texas Hotlinks written by Eugene Lee. In 1996, I moved back to Oklahoma and founded the Wayward Theater
Company where I created the educational show There's Magic in the Web of It. At the Wayward Theater Company,
I also invested my time in directing and producing shows such as Judevine, Waiting for Godot, Blood Knot,
and several others. Simultaneously, I helped create OkRep Theater of Tulsa. In 2001, I moved to Boston.
Since living in Boston, I have worked with Up You Mighty Race Theater Co. in Fences, which was directed
by Akiba Abaka. Now... it is time to play some more. My goals are to grow as a human, expand in my career,
and work with the best Boston has to offer.
